I posted this over on the US forums and people seemed to like it, so I thought I'd put it up here to share. I have also added a build (Build 8).
***Please note that this is my opinion and my experience and I do not claim to be an expert***
Build 1 - This one is a nice one. You get some of the CC breaks from general and some really nice damage from the Lotus bottom tier feats. I liked it, but I found that using LO as my break for fear/stuns often left me standing there due to not having enough shards to pop it when I needed it. The extra dot from Baneful Venom is pretty sweet, but overall, I found I didn't need the damage boost a lot of the time. Overall, I think this build is quite viable and a good "all-arounder".
Build 2 - A nice all-around build again with the fully feated stamina/mana drain for Impede Life. This is usefull for killing soldiers and BS where you can drain them and get them in trouble with IL then finish them off. Gets you all CC breaks and a good measure of CC to help you finish off your enemy or get you out of trouble.
Build 3 - Lotus-heavy hybrid. A very deadly spec for in and out kills. Your only anti-CC comes from LO, but you get a single-target fear and an AOE charm/fear, so good for killing a target and then popping your AOE fear to GTFO quick. Probably better for ganking/duels than group pvp. This is very viable as long as you do your best to watch for and anticipate knockbacks.
Build 4 - Corruption-heavy hybrid. A very deadly burst damage spec. This one is popular (I guess there is some carry-over from the old lotus-corruption hybrid builds here). Similar to the other hybrid I posted. Very deadly in 1 v 1 and ganking situations and there are some very good sins out there who use this spec and do well in group pvp due to their ability to anticipate, avoid CC and move like crazy. The one drawback for is that AoD has a very distinctive animation which makes you an easy target for a stun or fear.
Build 5 - Plenty of dps to take down opponents, CC breaks (I find that the gen-tree CC breaks save me more often - no shard dependency and they are situational, so I can avoid different CCs at different times instead of using one 4-shard ability to avoid a bunch of CCs then getting CC'd when that wears off). Even though initially I was less than impressed by the proc rate of BtB, I have since changed my mind because I've found it to be nice when you get to beating on a heavy, where every reduction in armour counts. Once in a while I found that there wasn't that little extra oomph from the end-tree feats to finish off a kiter.
Build 6 - Again lotus heavy, but with the KB resist from Gen. Combined with LO, this makes you immune to CC for the duration. Fully feated Facestab and Lotus Coated Dart for nasty damage. This build has a lot of damage potential with the added KB resist while sacrificing the AOE fear Curse of the Lotus.
Build 7 - Nice hybrid with all CC breaks and a good amount of CC but this one gives a boost to your essence detonation.
Build 8 - The leech! This build feats for all of the drains for stamina and mana as well as getting you LO for a nasty damage boost (and also the extra dot from Baneful Venom), BtB for the armour reduction and DWW for a nice AOE finisher. You get Grave's Blossom as well, though I find I don't use it very often. This would likely be a nice build for taking down heavier opponents and shammies. Also would be a decent minigame build for putting the hurt on a flag carrier. Watch them qq as their stamina and mana go bye-bye in two combos.
Build 9 - Basically the same concept as Build 8, but instead of LO, you get AOD and adds the ED buff from Soul Corruption. My personal feeling is that, since there are more stuns and fears around than charms and a lot of KBs can be anticipated/double-tapped, that LO is better. Nonetheless, there is no denying the burst potential of AOD and ED on a debuffed target with no stamina and/or no mana left to defend themself. **I should add that the self-heal from AoD hitting someone can be quite substantial and is another plus in favour of that feat.
*I currently run Build 5 but I play around with builds regularly
Anyway, there's my perspective on a few different PVP builds. I'm not what I would call an "elite" assassin by any means, but I've played it extensively in the past few months and had to learn pvp in the 1.05 world (which was basically when I returned to AoC).

I'm using
http://aoc.yg.com/feat-planner?class=34 ... 11,1634-13
from now on, since I've started sieging on 'sin.
I didn't use to have dart in my spec at all, but needed the points in lotus. Maybe I'll start using it, for when people are too far away for a facestab.

I was testing the leech build yesterday on TL, but had some issues against a DT.
I hit him with both IL and Kidney Shots, but it didn't drain him enough to adversely affect him in the time it took him to get my health down. I missed the CC breaks that I have in my usual build.

You just cant go wrong there you have all ccs and anti ccs.
Best spec imo, anti ccs are shards free so you have plenty to use if you get cced
=) cheers
